Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is a survival horror game developed by Scott Cawthon and the third installment in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. The new animatronics in the game are Phantom Freddy, Phantom Chica, Phantom Foxy, and Springtrap. Phantom Freddy, Chica, and Foxy are ghostly versions of the original animatronics from the first game. Springtrap is a new animatronic created from the salvaged parts of the original animatronics.

Springtrap is the main antagonist of the game and the biggest threat to the player. He is an animatronic resembling a withered, decayed rabbit with a human-like hand and a decaying suit. Springtrap can move through the vent system and can be lured by audio cues. However, he is intelligent enough to avoid being fooled by the same sound multiple times, making it harder to distract him.

MANAGED TO SALVAGE SOME OF THE ANIMATRONICS FOR THE ATTRACTION

One of the most intriguing aspects of the game is its story. The game is set thirty years after the events of the first two games, and the player is led to believe that the animatronics were destroyed after the closure of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. However, Fazbear's Fright has opened a horror attraction based on the legends surrounding the original restaurant, and the owners have managed to salvage some of the animatronics for the interest.

DISCOVERED THE RESTAURANT AND ROOM

As the player progresses through the game, they find audio tapes left by a former employee of Fazbear's Fright. These tapes reveal the truth behind the original animatronics' attraction and fate. It turns out that after the closure of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the animatronics were not destroyed but instead hidden away in a secret room in the restaurant. The owner of Fazbear's Fright, a fan of the legends surrounding Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, discovered the room and salvaged the animatronics for his attraction.

However, the animatronics were not as dormant as the owner believed. The spirits of the children murdered by William Afton, the man behind the animatronic attacks in the previous games, were still trapped inside the animatronics. The spirits use the attraction to seek revenge on Afton, who had hidden inside the Springtrap animatronic.
